Northwestern Health Sciences University has earned an international reputation over the last six decades as a pioneering center of excellence in natural health care education, scientific research and patient care. The University is the largest provider of natural health care services in the State of Minnesota operating five public clinics throughout the Twin Cities area in addition to several community clinics. Northwestern’s clinic system offers a wide range of natural health care services including: chiropractic, acupuncture, Oriental medicine, massage therapy, and naturopathy.
POSITION: Reporting to the President, the Chief of Care Delivery is the senior administrator providing overall direction and supervision of all aspects of the university’s clinic system. The Chief of Care Delivery will provide leadership for the implementation of Northwestern’s transformational plan for its clinic system. This ambitious plan focuses on the delivery of integrative evidence-informed care, the development of comprehensive assessment and treatment programs, and the implementation of a comprehensive quality assurance system.
|Duties:||Provides hands-on leadership and direction for developing and implementing the strategy, objectives and tactics to growth NwHSU’s system of care delivery.|
Responsible for the overall management of the university’s clinics including evaluating revenue and expenses, contracting with payers, strategic planning, provider recruitment and marketing, recommendations regarding the expansion or curtailment of services, and the establishment of new or auxiliary facilities.
Provides overall leadership in the clinic system for planning, implementation and assessing clinic initiatives and projects.
Provide direction and oversight for the measurement of clinic performance and quality assurance through systematic and regular collection, analysis and reporting of data.
|Qualifications:||- Master’s degree or higher, preferred|
- Seven years of experience as a leader of multi-unit care delivery systems or units
- Highly effective written, verbal and presentation communication skills
- Demonstrated success in program implementation, operations, and fiscal management
