| Description: | Provide professional massage therapy in a clinical setting to NWHSU's clients in the following natural care centers:
Bloomington Natural Care Center (Bloomington, MN); Wed., 1:00 PM - 7:00 PM and Thurs 7:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Woodwinds Natural Care Center (Woodbury, MN); Mon. 1:30 PM - 7:30 PM |
| Duties: | Performs massage therapy services in a professional and compassionate manner utilizing massage therapy techniques; documents each session; provides referrals when necessary.
Provides treatment consistent with education provided in an accredited massage therapy program.
Develops/implements standards of care and practice guidelines for massage therapy.
Develops collaborative professional relationships with other health care providers to enhance integrative care.
Participates in public speaking opportunities, lectures, and other community and professional educational opportunities.
Participates in marketing activities to enhance branding of clinic and in relationship development within the community as a whole. |
| Qualifications: | Graduate of an accredted program in massage therapy; six months of continuous clinical experience in providing massage therapy
Successfully passed the National Certification Examination
Certified in cranial-sacral therapy preferred |
